Socrates said “Let a man choose Marriage or Celibacy… he  will be sure to repent.”  That’s true with roommates too.  There are certain criteria that you should  have when selecting a roommate if you’re fortunate enough to have  a choice in the matter.  You’d like them to be clean, conscientious, quiet and respectable.  Ideally, you’d like them to pay the rent on time as well.  But eventually, like any long-term relationship, things have a tendency to go sour.   Sometimes it ends with a dissolving of the relationship and roomies go their own respective way and sometimes it ends up in hilarity.  Check out the videos below of some roommates exacting revenge for wrongs that need to be righted.

1.  BUGS IN THE SHOWER (NSFW – LANGUAGE)

If you’re watching this at work, keep the sound down, because this dude lets the F Word fly.  I love the part where they lock him in and he screams like a girl.  Then they throw an exercise ball in the face at the end just for good measure.  That’ll teach him for whatever it was that he did wrong…. if anything.

2.  DEAD BIRD IN CEREAL (NSFW – LANGUAGE)

You know how I know this is real?  Firstly there’s the smelling of the milk.  That is a detail that you just can’t fake.  Secondly, the reaction.  I know that its real because he does what I do when I see a snake in my yard… he flips out like a be-yach.  You can’t fake how quickly he got away from that bowl.

3.  “SHANE NEVER DOES HIS DISHES”

Don’t know if you’ll find the same humor in this as I do, but there is a beauty in its simplicity.  It’s not a typical elaborate hoax or complicated set up… it’s just one dude dousing another dude in the face 10 minutes before he’s going to the movie with his girlfriend.  Simple yet effective.

4.  POOR ERNIE (NSFW – GOAT SOUNDS)

Sometimes you can get the best revenge on your roommate outside  of the apartment.  Like in the Library for instance.  Poor Ernie gets nailed twice in this one.  Watch his sheer panic as he tries desperately to turn off his laptop, and also watch as he looks like he’s hit with a teaser as he attempts to leave the library.

5.  CHAD HATES ALIENS

Wow, Chad does hate aliens and Matt and Rob know it, love it and exploit it to its fullest extent.  One question though… during the shower prank, was it REALLY necessary to hit him in the head with the ironing board?  Wasn’t that just overkill?

6.  PROJECT WALL

Diametrically opposed to No. 3, sometimes going the opposite route of simplicity is also a very effective method.  How about we sheetrock and entire wall while our roommate is on vacation?   Sounds like a good idea… to everyone but the roommate.  He had a sense of humor about it… and he did an amazing jump to get in the room…so  kudos to him.
